Financial Aid (Zakat/Sedeqa)

Mosques often have dedicated areas or boxes for congregants to deposit their Zakat and Sadaqah contributions. This money is collected regularly and is separate from general funds.

We collected Sadaqah for various charitable purposes such as to support various community needs, such as educational programs, mosque maintenance, and outreach activities.

We consider Islamic principles to ensure that the recipients meet the criteria for receiving Zakat, such as being in financial need, eligible in the eyes of Islamic law, and unable to meet their basic needs.
