Imams

Generally, an Imam is a religious leader and spiritual guide who plays a central role in the functioning of a mosque.

The religious scholars at EMAS provide the following services for the community.

Leading Prayers : including the five daily prayers (Salat) and the Friday prayer (Jumu’ah).

Delivering Sermons (Khutbah) : Imams often give sermons during the Friday prayer, addressing the congregation on various topics, including religious guidance, moral values, and current events. This is known as the Friday Khutbah.

Teaching and Education : teaching Quranic studies, Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Islamic history.

Conducting Religious Ceremonies : such as weddings (Nikah), funerals (Janazah), and other religious rites and rituals. They ensure that these events are conducted in accordance with Islamic traditions.

Answer Islamic Questions : Our scholars are Knowledgeable to answer any questions according to Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Islamic history.
